Brad Gordon
Brad Gordon grew up in Proctor, Vermont, just outside of Rutland. While in
Proctor, Brad served as the student representative on the Proctor School District Board of Directors. Brad went on to attend Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. On the way to receiving his degree, Brad spent a semester working in the Washington office of Senator Bernie Sanders. After three years, Brad graduated from Hobart with Honors in 2009, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Public Policy with a minor in Sociology. Brad then returned to Vermont and moved to Barre City to work as the Executive Assistant and Government Liaison for SBE, Inc. Brad also currently serves on the Vermont Hugh O'Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Board of Directors and volunteers as the Assitant Leadership Seminar Chairperson helping to organize and facilitate the annual four day seminar for high school sophomores. Brad's interests include motocross, skiing, hiking, and getting to know the Barre area.
Francis McFaun
of Barre Town, Washington County, Republican, was born on April 19, 1939, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and became a resident of Barre Town in 1967. Retired after 38 years of employment with VT State Government. He was educated at St. Peters Elementary School, Cambridge, Massachusetts; Rindge Technical High School, Cambridge, Massachusetts; Boston University, Boston Massachusetts, B.S., Education, 1963; and took graduate courses at Boston College, Boston, Massachusetts; Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts; and University of Vermont, Burlington, Vermont. He is married to Mary Howland McFaun, and they have 2 daughters and 1 son. Current memberships and affiliations: Co-Chair Capitol Campaign Committee Recycle North; People’s Health and Wellness Clinic, board member; Barre Area Development Corporation, Past President, Board Member; Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation , Board member and past president; Central Vermont Workforce Investment Board, Board member and past chairperson. Member of the House 2005-2006, 2007-2008, 2009-2010.

Al Flory
Grew up in Rutland, VT; 1980 graduate of Bentley College with a B.S. degree in Business Administration; Worked previously at First Vermont Bank & Trust Co. and Proctor Bank as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer and since 1992 have been at Northfield Savings Bank, currently as Commercial Services Team Leader; Have been on the Board of Barre Area Development since 1985, have previously served as President and am currently the Treasurer. Former President of the Barre Partnership; Have formerly been active in various civic organizations such as the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce and the Barre Tournament Committee; Currently active in coaching various youth sports through Barre Youth Sports Assoc. and Barre Community Baseball.
Mark Mast
Mark Mast was born in Chelsea, MA and grew up in a suburb of Boston in a town named Chelmsford. As a young man he spent his days playing sports and fishing the local brooks. He was enrolled in the Boy Scouts of America and obtained its highest rank of Eagle Scout. Mark graduated from Chelmsford High School in 1990 and attended Vermont College Campus for one year. He transferred to Northeastern University where he graduated in 1996 with a BS in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing. Shortly after graduation he moved to Vermont and worked in the Hotel Management field holding sales positions at the Radisson Hotel Burlington and Topnotch Resort and Spa in Stowe. In the year 2000, Mark joined his wife’s family business, Bond Auto Parts of Barre, VT. He started as a delivery driver, worked the counter and even managed their Montpelier, VT store location for a year. In 2004, Mark became the Vice President of Marketing and concentrates on promoting Bond Auto Parts which now has over 40 store locations throughout Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Mark has served on many fundraising committees for the Central Vermont Catholic School where his two children attend as well as served a term on School Board there. He presently resides in Barre Town and in his free time enjoys his family, playing golf, hiking, hunting and skiing in the winter.
Ulysse (Pete) Fournier, Jr
In 2007 Pete founded FCS Enterprises, LLC, a financial compliance solutions service, after having served more than thirty years of service in both state and municipal governments as a chief fiscal officer, an auditor, and a state banking regulator. Among his activities while in government service he served as both a national vice-president and state chairman in the Society of Financial Examiners, where he retired with the Certified Financial Examiner professional designation. He is a past state president of the Vermont Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and retired from the Information Systems Audit and Controls Association with the Certified Information Systems Auditor professional designation. Locally, Pete previously served as a Barre City Councilman from Ward 1 for three terms, as chairman of the Barre City Public Safety Advisory Committee, and as a trustee of the Barre Rifle and Pistol Club. In addition, to being a director and current vice-president of BADC, he is also a member of the Barre City Development Review Board and is a recent appointee to the Regional Committee for Public Safety Consolidation. Pete and his wife Giselle currently reside in Barre and spend time whenever possible at their camp on Lake Champlain.
Sean Starr
Sean works for BCK Insurance in Barre as the Commercial Lines Sales Manager. Sean most recently worked for Hickok & Boardman Insurance in Burlington as a commercial producer and prior to that was the Director of North American Sales for Tubbs Snowshoes in Stowe. Sean is a native Vermonter growing up locally and graduating from the University of Vermont in 1993. Sean holds a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist designation from the Hartford School of Insurance and is currently pursuing the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor. Sean lives in Worcester with his two sons.
Nancy Gale
Nancy Gale is a life long resident of Central Vermont and an Associate Broker at Town & Country Associates Realtors in Barre. Nancy has been a REALTOR since
1983, and was President of the Central Vermont Board of Realtors in 1996. She was a Director, then Treasurer of the Vermont Association of Realtors and was President in 2006. Nancy was the first female member of the Barre Kiwanis Club, joining that group in 1996 and served as their President in 2000 and 2009. She is a trustee of the Aldrich Public Library. Nancy is married to Stephen Martin. Between them they have 6 children and 7 grandchildren. Nancy's interests are reading, gardening, cooking and walking for exercise.
Skip Poczobut
“Skip” Poczobut, a native Vermonter residing in Barre, returned to the Green Mountain State 35 years ago where he has been with the Peoples United Bank for that entire time. As a Senior Vice President in Corporate Banking, he is responsible for covering the Central Vermont area as a commercial loan officer. “Skip” works closely to build a strong relationship working for his customers as partners that include construction, manufacturing and retail, the service industry, insurance, medical, education and hospitality. “Skip” a past President of BADC is the State Chair of the Vermont committee for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a board member of Central Vermont Economic Development and past campaign chair for Green Mountain United Way and major gift campaign chair for Central Vermont Medical Centers $20 million dollar renovation and expansion project that was completed in 2007.
